This Message is to warn the public about Plug In Supply. Plug In Supply is owned and operated by Robb Protheroe in Petaluma CA. When we met Robb Protheroe, he was making the kits on his kitchen table and working out of his house in Petaluma. He was in dire need of funding. He contacted us and asked us to help fund his company. After some research, we decided to help Robb Protheroe and formed Plug In Solutions.
Robb Protheroe was president of Plug In solutions. Plug In Solutions gave Robb a hefty salary, guidance, sales and marketing support, and an expense account. In exchange for this, Robb entered into the warehouse when we were out of town, and without our knowledge or consent stole parts and inventory to ship kits out the back door. When we found out about this illegal activity, we consulted counsel and terminated the partnership.
Subsequent to this termination, we were contacted by the Resale Tax Board and informed that Robb was not paying any sales tax on units shipped in his previous company Plug In Supply.
